Lindbergh Beach, with a lifeguard, restrooms, and a bathhouse, lies at the Southwest corner of St. Thomas and is used extensively by locals who sometimes stage political rallies here as well as Carnival parties. Many beach-loving couples are also attracted to this beach. It's not good for snorkeling. Drinks are served on the beach. Take the dollar taxi buses west from Charlotte Amalie and get off when you see the entrance to the airport. Then just walk down Airport Rd. until you reach the beach.
